Lecture Overview
This course covers how to configure and maintain a SharePoint On-premises Farm. We start off by covering the basics of planning and designing a SharePoint farm Topology.We then look at how to create Web Applications and Site Collections, as well as implementing Service Applications. We will also look at how to implement Authentication for SharePoint.This course will wrap up by looking at monitoring and maintaining the overall SharePoint Farm and associated Services. We then look how to configure and manage the Search Service, as well as understanding how to monitor, troubleshoot and manage the SharePoint environment.

Objectives
  • The course will educate you on the planning, implementation and management of Microsoft Teams within Microsoft 365. Starting with implementing the Teams environment, followed by configuration of polices and controls for all Teams users. We will also walk-through deploying the Teams application, then review the policies for configuration settings and security. Lastly, we will look at troubleshooting Teams, and reviewing of usage and analytic data.

Lecture Modules
In this module you will learn how to design and architect a SharePoint Farm. You will walk-through the supported topology designs, and then considerations for high availability, high performance and disaster recovery. You will then plan for backup and restore, as well as supporting components to ensure you have the best supported farm design.
In this module you will learn how to deploy and manage Web Applications and Site Collections. You will also learn how to implement some of the modern user experience components, as well understand deploying customization into SharePoint.
In this module you will learn how to implement Authentication within a SharePoint Farms. You will begin with understanding the supported Authentication options, then move into understanding how to use other services such as Active Directory Federated Services and Azure Active Directory. You will also look at how to troubleshoot Authentication problems and issues.
In this module you will learn how to monitor and maintain a SharePoint Farm. You will first learn how to monitor the farm, which tools are available and when you should use them. You will then add Workflow capabilities to the farm as well as understand the upgrade and patching process within a SharePoint Farm.
In this module you will learn about Service Applications. You will look how to create Service Applications, then focus on the Business Data Connectivity Services (BCS) and Managed Metadata Service. You will also walk-through the configuration and use of User Profiles.
In this module you will learn configuring Search within a SharePoint Farm. You will also learn how to manage the search crawls and queries, as well how the search components work when implemented in sites within SharePoint.
