Lecture Overview
This course covers the basics of using the Cross-platform Azure CLI to manage an Azure Tenant.We will start by understanding the Azure CLI toolset, as well as understanding common syntax, modes and features. We will also look at automating the creation and management of Azure Tenant Services and Components. This course will walk through how to control Azure Services as well as how to use JSON for management in Azure CLI.

Objectives
  • The course will educate you on using Azure CLI for managing basic tasks within an Azure Tenant. Starting with installing a local copy of the Azure CLI, using the Azure Cloud Shell, as well as running the Azure CLI within Docker. We will also walk-through looking at the Azure Services tha can be managed within Azure CLI, as well as understand the JSON formatting required to create and deploy items directly into Azure. Lastly, we will look at setting up the basic services within a new Azure Tenant.

Lecture Modules
In this module you will learn how to install the Azure CLI locally, within a Windows 10 worksation. We will also setup Visual Studio Code as the editor and integrate for automatic execution of commands. We will then review using the Azure Cloud Shell within the Azure Administrtive Portal. Lastly, we will utilize Docker for running the Azure CLI.
In this module you will learn how construct the basic syntax for Azure CLI commands. We will also learn how to construct for and output JSON. We will also, looks at how to use Azure CLI Extension to enchance the capabilities within the CLI.
In this module you will learn how to create core Azure Compents. We will review the services that can be managed by Azure CLI. We will also review common commands that can be used with Azure CLI. 
In this module you will learn how to manage Azure Active Directory using Azure CLI. We will start by looking at the supported capabilities, as well as the available commands. We will also review creating Applications, Groups, Service Principals and Users.
In this module you will learn about the App Service within Azure. We will start by looking at the supported capabilities, as well as the available commands. We will also look at creating and managing the App Service, along with its configuration.
In this module you will learn how to manage storage capabilities such as Azure Backup, Storage Accounts, Containers, Fileshares as well as common storage components. We will first look at using Azure Backup. We will then look at the configuring storage containers as well as managging blobs within Azure. Lastly, we will look at creating and managing Fileshares, Tables and Queues.
