In this module, students will be introduced to Azure Storage and the core features of storage accounts, including Blobs, Tables, Queues, and Files. Students will also learn about storage replication and the features of the current versions of storage accounts as well as how to target various storage tiers to meet the performance requirements of a storage solution.
In this module, students will learn how to control access to Azure Storage Accounts through the use of access keys, shared access signatures, and the storage service firewall.
In this module, students will learn about Azure Blob Storage - what it is, how it can be managed and secured, and the features of the service. This includes using Azure CDN in combination with the storage service, how to implement custom domain names, static website hosting, recovery through blob snapshots and soft delete, and file storage with Azure Files. Students are also introduced to online and offline data transfer strategies and tools to migrate data to and from Azure storage.
