Lecture Overview
In this course, you will learn how to monitor resources for using the Azure Monitor service. Topics will include understanding how to configure and interpret metrics, as well as configuring data sources for Azure Log Analytics, querying logs using the Kusto query language, and setting up alerts and actions, and monitoring application health using Azure Application Insights. From there, you will learn how to use Azure Recovery Services to backup virtual machines and use Azure Site Recovery to create a failover solution.

  • Understand how to configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks

Pre-Requisites
  • Fundamentals of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with a scripting environment such as PowerShell or Bash
  • Experience with infrastructure components such as virtual machines, networking and storage
Lecture Modules
In this module we will look at configuring and interpreting metrics, configuring log analytics, querying and analyzing logs, setting up alerts and actions, and configuring app insights.
In this module, we’ll cover creation of a recovery services vault, backup policy, backup reporting and azure site recovery.
