This lab assumes you have an Office 365 tenant to completely this lab in. The best environment would be an Office 365 trial tenant. You will also need to be a global admin on the tenant you are using. To complete the exercise on deploying the client, you’ll also need a Windows 10 machine that doesn’t have OneDrive installed on it for the exercises when we’ll go through provisioning and managing the OneDrive for Business client.
Exercise 1: Getting Started with OneDrive for Business
In this lab you’ll get StaffHub enabled and how to get started with OneDrive for Business.
Exercise 2: OneDrive for Business Administration
In this lab we’ll look at and configure the admin settings for OneDrive for Business.
Exercise 3: Configuring Permissions and File Sharing
In this lab we’ll look at permissions and file sharing in OneDrive for business. It will cover both the end user experience as well as how you, as an Admin, can manage a user OneDrive.
Exercise 4: Document Deletion Policies, Alerts and File Activity Reports
In this lab we’ll take a look at some of the security and compliance features around OneDrive for Business. This will include setting alerts for certain activities in OneDrive, Configuration Document retention policies and looking at file activity reports.
Exercise 5: Client Deployment and Management
In this lab you’ll install the OneDrive for Business Client and learn about the management of the client.
Exercise 6: Migration to OneDrive for Business
In this lab, we’ll walk through a couple different techniques to migrate to OneDrive for Business. Use the OneDrive for Business sync client to migrate to OneDrive for Business. Use the Microsoft migration tool to migrate to OneDrive for Business.
