In this lab, you will use Visual Studio Code to create a new Azure Resource Manager Template that deploys a virtual machine scale set (VMSS) that can dynamically scale up or down. Each instance of the scale set will automatically deploy a web application on provisioning by using the Linux Custom Script Extension.

In this exercise, you will configure the template to scale out the web front end using a scalable number of virtual machines. For this you will use the Azure load balancer and the virtual machine scale sets feature.
