Exercise 3: Navigating the file system
In this exercise, you will practice traversing the file system hierarchy and working with files and directories. You will use commands to view and edit text files, as well as create, copy, move and remove both files and directories. You will also learn how to view and create links.
Exercise 4: Working with Files
You continue working with the file system in more detail. In this activity, you will analyze files to determine their type, search for files on the system, and analyze their content using the grep command. You will also archive, compress and decompress files. In order to practice securely logging into a remote system and copying a file securely to a remote system.
