  • Establishing a hybrid identity synchronization using Azure AD Connect
  • Integrating Azure AD hybrid identity with public cloud SaaS applications, as well as with on-premises running applications

  • Basic understanding of Azure Virtual Machines

Exercises

Exercise 1: Environment Setup



In this exercise, you will setup the environment to complete this lab.  Tasks include deploying a Windows Server Active Directory environment that will be used later in his lab.



Exercise 2: Integrating with Azure AD Connect

In this exercise, we cover all aspects of Active Directory integration with Azure Active Directory, by using Azure AD Connect. The lab exercise covers the following:

·        Registration of an additional Azure Tenant domain name, reflecting the organization’s public namespace

·        Installation of Azure AD Connect – Express Settings

·        Synchronization of on-premises AD users/groups to Azure AD, from Azure AD Connect

·        Guidelines on AADConnect troubleshooting

·        Azure AD Health Portal

Exercise 3: Simplify User Access to SaaS Cloud Applications

In this exercise, we will start with the core concepts of simplifying user access to SaaS cloud applications, by showing the integration with Azure AD, the MyAccess Panel, and how SaaS application authentication can be executed out of Azure AD in a single / seamless sign-on model. Topics that we cover in this Exercise are:

·        Publishing a cloud SaaS application from the Gallery using Azure AD identity integration

·        Walk-through of the MyApps Access Panel



Exercise 4: Simplify User Access to SaaS Cloud Applications – Part II

In this exercise, we will continue the content around simplifying user access to SaaS cloud applications, talking about:

·        Publishing an on-premises web applications using Azure AD Application Proxy

·        Using Microsoft Graph API functionality
