Lab: Migrating Data to Azure with Linux

Overview
In this lab, you will learn about the different capabilities of AzCopy. This lab starts with installing AzCopy. As you progress through the lab, you will become familiar with how to upload both single files and batches of files, how to copy files between storage accounts, and how to download files.
This lab is split up in separate exercises, reflecting the presented topics and demos from each module.

Exercises

Exercise 1: Deploying the Lab Environment
In this exercise, you will start the Real Time Lab Environment for the lab. This lab will provision a virtual machine with the software necessary to complete the hands-on lab. You will also have access to a Microsoft Azure subscription to complete the tasks. Do not create more resources in Azure then the lab requires or your lab may be terminated.
Exercise 2: Installing AZCopy
In this exercise, you will be installing AzCopy into your LabVM so that it is available for further exercises.
Exercise 3: Copying files from on-premise with AZCopy
In this exercise, you will explore the methods for executing network transfers from an on-premises environment to an Azure storage account with AzCopy.
Exercise 4: Copying files Between Storage Accounts
In this exercise, you will explore the methods for executing network transfers from one storage account to another and explorer Azure-to-Azure data movement.
Exercise 5: Downloading Files between Storage Accounts
In this exercise, you will explore the methods for downloading content from Azure with AzCopy.
