In this course you will learn how to describe the business value of Power Platform, identify the Core Components of Power Platform, demonstrate the capabilities of Power BI and demonstrate the capabilities of Power Automate. This course will also cover how to demonstrate the capabilities of Power Virtual Agents. This path will help prepare you to pass the Microsoft certification exam PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals.

- Create a simple Power App, connect data with Common Data Service, build a Power BI Dashboard, and automate a process with Power Automate.
Module 01 - Describe the Business value of Power Platform Services
In this module you will learn how to analyze data by using Power BI, act with Power Apps, build solutions that use Common Data Service and create flows by using Power Automate. This module will also cover how to use connectors to access services and data and create powerful chatbots by using a guided, no-code graphical interface.
Module 02 - Describe the Business Value of Extending Business Solutions by Using Power Platform
In this module you will learn how to describe how Dynamics 365 apps can accelerate delivery of Power Platform business solutions, how Power Platform business solutions can be used by Microsoft 365 apps including Microsoft Teams and how Power Platform business solutions can consume Microsoft 365 services. This module will also describe how Power Platform business solutions can consume Microsoft Azure services and • describe how Power Platform business solutions can consume third-party apps and services.
Module 03- Describe Power Platform Administration and Security
In this module you will learn how Power Platform implements security including awareness of Common Data Service security roles, Azure Identity Services, how to manage apps and users and describe environments. This module will also cover where to perform specific administrative tasks including Power Platform Admin center, Microsoft 365 admin center, describe Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies as well as how the platform supports privacy and accessibility guidelines.
Module 04 - Describe Common Data Service
This module will describe the Power Apps user experience, entities, fields, and relationships, and use cases for solutions. You will also learn use cases and limitations of business rules, the Common Data Model (CDM) as well as how to use common standard entities to describe people, places, and things.
Module 05 - Describe Connectors
In this module you will learn about riggers including trigger types and where triggers are used, actions and licensing options for connectors including standard or premium tier Identify use cases for custom connectors.
Module 06 - Describe AI Builder
This module will identify the business value of AI Builder and describe models including business card reader, detection model, form processing model, and prediction model. You will also learn how the Power Apps and Power Automate can consume AI Builder data.
Module 07 - Identify common Power BI components
In this module you will learn how to identify and describe uses for visualization controls including pie, bar, donut, and scatter plots and KPIs and describe types of filters. We will also cover the Power BI Desktop Reports, Data, and Model tabs and uses for custom visuals including charts or controls. You will also learn how to compare and contrast dashboards and workspaces and compare and contrast Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
Module 08 - Connect to and Consume Data
In this module you will learn how to combine multiple data sources, clean and transform data and describe and implement aggregate functions. This module will also cover how to identify available types of data sources including Microsoft Excel and describe use cases for shared datasets and template apps and how to consume each.
Module 09 - Build a Basic Dashboard Using Power BI
In this module you will learn how to design a Power BI dashboard, design data layout and mapping and publish and share reports and dashboards.
Module 10 - Identify common Power Apps Components
In this module you will learn the differences between canvas apps and model-driven apps, we will describe portal apps and identify and describe types of reusable components including canvas component libraries and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) components. You will also learn use cases for formulas.
Module 11 - Build a Basic Canvas App
In this module you will learn the types of data sources, how to connect to data by using connectors, combine multiple data sources and use controls to design the user experience. This module will also cover the customer journey and how to publish and share an app.
Module 12 - Describe Power Apps Portals
In this module you will learn how to create a portal by using a template, learn common portal customization and how to identify differences in portal behavior based on whether a user is authenticated. This module will also cover how to apply a theme to a portal.
Module 13 - Build a Basic Model-Driven App
In this module you will learn how to add entities to app navigation, modify forms and views and publish and share an app.
Module 14 - Identify Common Power Automate Components
In this module you will learn how to identify flow types, use cases for and available templates, and how Power Automate uses connectors. This module will also cover loops and conditions including switch, do until, and apply to each, expressions and approvals.
Module 15 - Build a Basic Flow
In this module you will learn how to create a flow by using the button, automated, or scheduled flow template, modify a flow, use flow controls to perform data operations and run a flow.
Module 16 - Describe Power Virtual Agents Capabilities
In this this module you will learn about use cases for Power Virtual Agents, where you can publish chatbots and topics, entities and actions.
Module 17 - Build and Publish a Basic Chatbot
In this module you will learn how to create a chatbot, create a topic and call an action. You will also learn how to test a chatbot, publish a chatbot, monitor chatbot usage and monitor chatbot performance.
